About DublFirst
Which company is more likely to double first?
Most individual stock investors are searching for companies capable of creating meaningful value. But finding an interesting company is only the beginning. DublFirst was created to make the choice between compelling opportunities more disciplined, understandable, and useful.
A consistent way to compare compelling companies
DublFirst is a financial research application that helps individual investors compare public companies through a consistent, multidimensional framework.
It brings together established ideas from financial analysis, valuation, technical analysis, economics, industry research, risk assessment, and company-specific evidence. The side-by-side result helps investors examine not only which company presents the stronger case, but why.
The purpose is not to turn an uncertain future into a certain answer. It is to make the evidence easier to examine and the assumptions behind the conclusion more visible.
From interesting company to informed decision
A company can be financially strong but priced for near-perfect execution. Another may appear inexpensive because its growth is slowing or its risks are increasing. A promising catalyst may already be reflected in market expectations, while a less obvious development may not be fully appreciated.
Each DublFirst comparison examines available evidence through a stated information cutoff, distinguishes reported facts from assessments, and identifies missing, stale, conflicting, or incomplete information when detected. The result is a point-in-time research view—not a timeless verdict or promised outcome.
Built for investors who want to keep learning
Newer investors can begin with a clear comparison, learn the concepts behind it, and use DublFirst’s educational resources to understand how experienced investors evaluate companies.
More experienced investors can examine deeper evidence, challenge assumptions, and apply their knowledge of companies, industries, and economic conditions. Basic provides the complete System analysis. Advanced and Alpha let you test your own assumptions, save and compare scenarios, and review available research. The original System analysis remains intact. This preview checks research already loaded here; it does not fetch fresh data from external providers.
The System View and your perspective
DublFirst begins with a consistent System View based on its research framework and the available evidence. Eligible Advanced and Alpha testers can create a separate view by changing approved company or macro assumptions, while the original System View remains distinct and unchanged.
- What if industry growth develops differently than current expectations?
- What if a new product or catalyst becomes more important than forecasts suggest?
- What if economic conditions strengthen or weaken the investment thesis?
- Which assumptions have the greatest effect on the comparison?
- What evidence would strengthen—or disprove—the investor’s view?
A Note from the Founder
I created DublFirst because I kept returning to the same problem as an individual investor. I would find several companies that interested me, but I still needed to decide how they compared—and where to focus my research, conviction, and available investment capital.
After more than two decades of investing, including six years in which it has been my primary work, I distilled what I look for each day into one central question: Among the companies that interest me most, which one do I believe will double first?
The information needed to answer that question was scattered across too many tools and resources—financial statements, valuation measures, price charts, economic analysis, industry research, forecasts, articles, and my own notes. Each provided an important piece of the picture, but no single resource brought everything together in a way that made companies easier to evaluate and compare.
I wanted a more structured and disciplined way to connect those pieces, apply what I had learned, and reach a clearer conclusion about which opportunity presented the stronger case—and why.
DublFirst became the research tool I wanted for myself. I use it to discover compelling companies, decide which new opportunities deserve greater attention, and revisit companies I already own—whether I should hold, add, reduce, or exit.
It has helped me approach portfolio allocation more intentionally, build greater resilience, and make decisions with a clearer understanding of the reasoning behind them. My goal is to give other individual investors that same structure while leaving them fully in control of their own assumptions, judgment, and decisions.

Currently in Development
DublFirst is currently in private Development testing for the owner and selected invited testers. Current testing uses reported financial statements, SEC filings, company releases, and historical market evidence, but comprehensive commercial-grade validation has not been completed.
Development outputs may be incomplete, stale, inconsistent, or wrong. DublFirst does not guarantee that a company will double, predict investment outcomes with certainty, or provide personalized investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Investors remain responsible for verifying material information, conducting their own research, and making decisions based on their individual circumstances.
